Moist weather were forecast to persist along much of eastern Queensland this week as a atmospheric system continued to draw in moisture against the coastal areas.
The following day was forecast to be the wettest day, with continued storm activity anticipated across multiple regions of both regions.

Health officials cautioned that there was an increased chance of weather-related respiratory issues across the northern rural areas, specifically given the ongoing climate situation.
